Dr. James Wilkins, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who has recently achieved a remarkable milestone by obtaining a Doctorate in Counseling and completed his Dissertation Study in the Lived Experiences of Neurodivergent Individuals of Socialization During the Pandemic is here and happy to help you on your journey toward peace and happiness.

Dr. Wilkins completed his Doctorate in Counselor Education, Research, and Supervision from TAMUC, prior to this he gained his Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UNT, and a Bachelors in Psychology with a Minor in Social Sciences emphasizing Philosophy, Sociology, and Music from UNT.

Dr. Wilkins specializes in working with neurodivergent individuals, employing an affirmative counseling approach that celebrates their unique strengths and fosters personal growth. Dr. Wilkins also emphasizes work as an Affirmative Therapist to assisting those identifying within the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI)/LGBTQ+ communities. Dr. Wilkins is trained in Gender-Affirming Mental Health Assessment and Affirmative Therapy Competency Training.
