Amanda Bruner,

LPC-Associate

(supervised by Dr Stephanie Waitt, LPC-S, CEDS)

Hi! I’m Amanda.

Therapy is a space for deep exploration, healing, and self-acceptance. I believe in the power of relational healing and strive to create a safe, affirming, and empowering environment where all parts of you are welcome—including the parts that feel messy, complicated, or hard to hold. Whether you’re navigating trauma, identity development, or relationship dynamics, I will walk alongside you as you deepen your understanding of yourself and your experiences.

My Qualifications & Philosophies

My approach is rooted in multicultural, feminist, and social justice frameworks, acknowledging the impact of the systems we live within. I pull from multiple approaches, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness to support clients in connecting with themselves holistically. I value curiosity over criticism and believe that self-compassion is a radical tool for growth.

I am especially passionate about working with LGBTQ+ individuals and neurodivergent clients, helping them feel seen, understood, and empowered in their identities. If you’re seeking a space where you can explore who you are, process past wounds, and move toward the life you want, I’d love to support you in that journey.
