Madison Vidican,

MA, LPC-Associate

(supervised by Dr. Stephanie Waitt, LPC-S, CEDS)

I am so excited you are here! Seeking support can be challenging and overwhelming. You deserve support through all the ups, downs, and neutrals that life can throw at us in ways that feel connecting and authentic for you. You are a whole and complex person! Together, let's explore your environment, patterns, and behaviors with self-compassion to discover which pathways in life bring you the most fulfillment. I am proud to work from an intersectional, trauma-informed, culturally responsive framework to best meet the needs of diverse populations.

I recently graduated with my master’s in Counseling Psychology at Texas Woman’s University and I am now a LPC-Associate in the state of Texas. I received my Bachelor of Science in 2020 in Psychology and Human Development from Washington State University and a certification in Psychological Applied Prevention Sciences in 2021 from Arizona State University. I work with teens/adolescents and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, identity development, relationship concerns, and more. My focus is on survivors of trauma, specifically sexual violence. I consider it an honor to support you, and view myself as a guide and fellow traveler walking alongside you in your journey towards creating space for your healing and fulfillment in life.

My Qualifications & Philosophies

I view therapy as a collaborative process and together we will work to create a space that feels safe and affirming. I believe you are the expert of your experiences and therapy is different for everyone! My approach is integrative and I like to meet clients where they’re at through the adaptation of therapy to best meet your needs. I am trauma-informed, and practice from a relational, client-centered approach. I enjoy utilizing elements of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and relational cultural therapy (RCT). I have experience working with diverse populations and utilize cultural humility and an intersectional framework to co-create an authentic and safe space.
