Good to Know
Per Texas BHEC rules, no more than 50% of your required 4 monthly supervision hours can be group supervision. Group Only members will still need 2+ hours of individual or dyadic supervision elsewhere each month, and are responsible for confirming with their supervisor that these hours fit their plan. Full Supervision members meet their entire monthly requirement through this membership.

Dr Stephanie Waitt
LPC-S, CEDS-CDr. Stephanie Waitt is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist-Consultant (CEDS-C) with over 20 years of experience building a specialty eating disorder and trauma-informed practice in North Texas. As Owner and Clinical Director of Texoma Specialty Counseling & Wellness, she has supervised therapists toward licensure, trained full clinical teams, and mentored professionals pursuing advanced certification in eating disorder treatment. She brings the same depth of clinical knowledge to every supervision session — whether you're working toward LPC licensure, your CEDS credential, or simply want a sharper clinical lens on the cases in front of you.
How Supervision Circle Hours Count
For LPC Associates (Texas BHEC):
Per Texas Board rules, LPC Associates need a minimum of 4 supervision hours per month, no more than 50% of which can be group supervision. Supervision Circle's two monthly group calls cover up to 2 of those hours. Choose Full Supervision to also meet your individual-hour requirement and have Dr. Stephanie serve as your board-listed supervisor of record.
For CEDS Candidates (IAEDP):
Pursuing your CEDS or CEDS-C credential requires 24 hours of supervision from an iaedp™-Approved Supervisor, at least 12 of which must be individual/dyad — the rest can be group. As a CEDS-C, Dr. Stephanie's supervision hours count toward this requirement. Supervision Circle's group calls can fulfill the group-eligible portion, and Full Supervision members can apply their individual hours toward the 12-hour individual minimum as well.

In many cases, yes — if you're pursuing both credentials simultaneously, the same supervision session can often apply to both, since you're receiving supervision from a dually-qualified LPC-S and CEDS-C. That said, you'll want to confirm with both the Texas Board and IAEDP that the specific hours and documentation meet each body's individual requirements, since they track and verify hours separately.

If you already have an individual supervisor (for LPC, CEDS, or both) and just need quality group hours, Group Only is the better fit. If you want one place to meet your full monthly requirement — group and individual combined — Full Supervision covers both, with Dr. Stephanie as your supervisor of record.

No — all Supervision Circle sessions are held live online, so you can join from anywhere in Texas (or wherever your supervision requirements allow remote supervision).

Supervision Circle runs as a month-to-month membership with no long-term commitment. If you need to pause, just reach out before your next billing date — and if you're in the Full Supervision tier, we'll make sure your supervision file reflects any gap accurately for your records.
