Rachel Hoover,
LPC-Associate
(supervised by Stephanie Waitt, LPC-S, CEDS-C)
Hi, friend! I'm so glad you're here. I work with adolescents, young adults, and women navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and identity concerns. I also provide an LGBTQIA+-affirming space where clients can show up as their authentic selves without fear of judgment. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, emotionally exhausted, or like they've lost themselves along the way. Together, we'll process what's holding you back, build practical coping skills, strengthen your confidence, and help you create a life that feels more authentic, balanced, and fulfilling.
My Qualifications & Philosophies
I provide a warm, collaborative approach tailored to each client's needs. I draw from CBT, REBT, person-centered, and somatic techniques to help clients manage anxiety, heal from trauma, strengthen relationships, improve emotional regulation, and build lasting confidence and resilience.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to figure everything out on your own. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, supported, and understood. Whether you're facing anxiety, healing from past experiences, or navigating a major life change, we'll work together at a pace that feels right for you.

If Elizabeth cannot accept your insurance she is out of network and payment is due at time of service. You may request a superbill to file for out of network reimbursement, but insurance may not reimburse for this type of service. Payment is due at time of service and cash, check, or credit/debit card is accepted. Elizabeth can either accept cash or check or we will hold a credit card on file to charge following each session. Your card will remain secured. If you wish to pay by check please make checks out to Texoma Specialty Counseling. Elizabeth will place your cash or check aside to be applied to your bill.
