Hi friend!
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervised by Dr. Stephanie Waitt, LPC-S, CEDS, specializing in trauma and relationship therapy. I am passionate about helping individuals, families, and partners move beyond survival patterns and toward deeper connection, healing, and lasting change.

My approach is needs-based and integrative, drawing from Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Parts Work, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I believe effective therapy addresses both the mind and body, so I combine top-down strategies—such as coping skills, mindfulness, and psychoeducation—with bottom-up trauma processing to support meaningful and sustainable healing.

In our work together, I focus on helping clients manage daily stress while also building internal trust, emotional regulation, and self-understanding. For families and partners, I emphasize communication, safety, and reconnection, creating a space where everyone feels seen and supported.
My goal is to provide a compassionate, collaborative environment where clients can develop the tools they need for immediate relief while also engaging in deeper work that leads to long-term growth and resilience.

My Qualifications & Philosophies

I believe therapy should be tailored to the unique needs of each client. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model, I draw from multiple evidence-based modalities—including Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Parts Work, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)—to meet clients where they are and support where they want to go.
My philosophy centers on the understanding that healing requires both insight and experience. I incorporate top-down approaches, such as coping skills, mindfulness, and psychoeducation, to help clients manage day-to-day stress and increase emotional awareness. At the same time, I utilize bottom-up processing to address how trauma is stored in the body, allowing for deeper resolution beyond cognitive understanding.

I also believe that safety and trust are foundational to any therapeutic relationship. Whether working with individuals, families, or partners, I strive to create a space that is collaborative, nonjudgmental , and grounded in respect. For partners and families, I focus on strengthening communication, rebuilding trust, and fostering emotional connection.
Ultimately, my goal is to help clients not only feel better in the moment, but to build internal trust, resilience, and the capacity for long-term healing and growth.
