Malorie Malone

Hello!

I’m so glad you’re here. One of the most difficult parts of finding a therapist is finding a therapist that clicks with you. That’s part of the reason why I offer consultations prior to booking a full session with me! You and I both want to make sure that I’m someone that can help you in this walk of life that you’re currently in.

I believe that every person is going to go through seasons where they need someone to meet them where they are and allow them to be vulnerable about their needs. I want to be able to be that for all of my clients while also giving them tools for growth.

My Qualifications & Philosophies

I received my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. I love to learn, and I am always trying to better myself to better help my clients as well. I primarily work with teens/adolescents and young adults, but I also love working with kids and older adults as well.

What I commonly work with includes anxiety, depression, mood regulation, identity, family issues and more. I believe the client is the expert on themselves and this belief helps foster a strong therapeutic relationship and growth. I want you to lead the sessions while I use skills and tools to help facilitate growth and allow us to look at patterns of behavior, thoughts, beliefs, and feelings. I practice from a client-centered perspective but like to pull in techniques and beliefs from many modalities.

Therapy is different for everyone and should be flexible and adaptable while maintaining a safe, authentic environment.
