Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) pairs a medically monitored altered state with therapy before, during and after. It can help adults with depression, anxiety, PTSD and more, but it isn't for everyone. These questions can help you think through whether you're ready to explore it.
Your KAP intake, preparation and integration sessions are covered in network with Aetna, BCBS PPO, Cigna and UnitedHealthcare/Optum. Dosing sessions are self-pay. See fees & insurance.

One or more of the items you checked may mean KAP isn't the right fit right now, or that you'll need extra medical review. You're still welcome to book an intake. We can talk through options, including the yoga, meditation and sound bath classes offered at TSC.
A KAP intake is a 60-minute session with Dr. Steph. It's covered in network with Aetna, BCBS PPO, Cigna and UnitedHealthcare/Optum (most clients pay only their copay or deductible). Without insurance, the self-pay rate is $225. We don't offer free consultations.
Final eligibility is decided by a licensed medical provider after a full evaluation.

This page is educational and not medical advice. KAP is offered to adults only. Ketamine is FDA-approved as an anesthetic; its use for mental health is off-label. Insurance coverage varies by plan; dosing sessions are not covered by insurance.
